Project DetailsStewart Cooper Newell Architects was hired by Lutheran Chapel to Master Plan, program, design, and oversee construction of this major capital building project. The members of the church needed more space for Sunday school, fellowship activities, day care center and administrative offices. After meeting with the building committee and discussing the many different options, we presented a conceptual plan to the congregation that was well received. Work immediately began on the design drawings. The architects worked at great length in an attempt to match the historical feel of the existing sanctuary exterior in the new addition. The fellowship hall was designed to be used for sports, as well as meetings and other events. It has a carpeted floor, pullout stage, and sound absorbent panels along the walls for acoustics. |
