Project Details

The original project called for a new education space and fellowship hall to accommodate the growth the church was experiencing. Stewart Cooper Newell Architects then performed a space needs analysis and feasibility study on their existing education wing, and compared the space available to the goals and objectives stated by the building committee. Upon completion of the study, it was determined that there was enough existing space available in the education wing. Simply renovating this space would accomplish the church goals and objectives. Based on this new information the church decided to completely renovate the education building and then build a completely new fellowship hall. This method saved the church a substantial amount of time and money. The new Fellowship Hall Addition contains a parlor, full service kitchen, storage areas, a new administrative office suite, conference room, library, entry vestibule, and new elevator for handicap accessibility throughout the facility. The Renovated Education Wing includes more flexible classroom spaces, storage rooms, a new nursery facility, and new HVAC equipment.
